This past Saturday was the big day for Steve and Laura. The wedding ceremony was at Norton Chapel (part of Keuka College's Campus) in Keuka Park. As I walked into the chapel, I was blown away! The natural wood interior with it's high ceilings was simply perfect. A great venue for a wedding to take place. I made sure to get some wide shots showing the interior.
As you are looking through these photos, notice the fishing references in the decor. Including fishing flies as boutonnieres! Steve is known as a fisherman. Laura also put some personal details into her bouquet. A beautiful touch.
Steve and Laura certainly know how to plan a celebration. And they selected beautiful venues for both their ceremony and their reception.
October 3, 2015 was a cold, rainy day but Steve and Laura's reception took place in a well heated tent at Heron Hill Winery in Hammondsport, NY.
That's when the party started.
Maybe it was good that the weather was a bit chilly because everyone was in the tent to enjoy the band that the couple had brought in for their big day. Nik and the Nice Guys seemed to have an unlimited supply of energy and kept the party going all night. Terrific music was not all that they brought to the table. Every time I thought they couldn't "bring it up a notch" again they would start moving through out the tent and bringing the band to guests at the tables. Never a dull moment.
Steve and Laura, I wish you all the best and I hope that you bring all the energy from your wedding into your marriage for the years to come. You do that, and you two will do great!
