During our back country hike in Glacier National Park, we encountered the small ranch that the local ranger lives at for 6 months of the year in the middle of the mountains. What an amazing lifestyle! daily routines of taking care of the horses and making sure travelers are safe, all the while waking up to some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. I was a little bit jealous.
