Misty Stream - Stony Brook State Park
I’m very proud of this photo of a beautiful, dreamy section of stream in Stony Brook State Park, right here in the Finger Lakes. Located in Dansville, NY, Stony Brook boasts a wide assortment lovely scenes like this as well as some large waterfalls. I took myself on a morning trip to this local park very early. It was so peaceful and pleasurable to have literally the entire park to myself!
This particular scene was the last that I photographed that day. While I was shooting, the light was not cooperating with me, the sun kept going in and out from behind clouds, messing up my timing for the best light. I thought that this shot would be one to discard but instead, it may be my favorite from the day!
